Our Story

Rooted in Canada. Made Without Compromise.

At Gaia Organics, we believe snacking shouldn't mean settling. That's why we went back to basics — real ingredients, traditional fats, and a commitment to Canadian farmers — to create a chip worth eating.

Our Mission

We started Gaia Organics with a simple conviction: the best food comes from the best ingredients, handled with care. In a world of ultra-processed snacks loaded with industrial seed oils, we chose a different path. We make chips the way they were meant to be made — with honest fats, organic potatoes, and nothing to hide.

Saskatchewan Potatoes

Our chips begin with potatoes grown in the rich, fertile soils of Saskatchewan — Canada's heartland. Saskatchewan's long summer days and cool nights produce potatoes with exceptional flavour and texture. We source directly from Canadian farmers who share our standards, so every bag starts with the best the land has to offer.

Alberta Beef Tallow

We fry in 100% Alberta beef tallow — a traditional cooking fat that's been used for generations. Tallow is rich in natural fat-soluble nutrients, has a high smoke point for a clean fry, and delivers a depth of flavour that vegetable oils simply can't match. It's real food, not a laboratory creation.

Why Not Seed Oils?

Canola, sunflower, soybean — these industrial seed oils dominate the snack industry because they're cheap, not because they're good. They're highly processed, prone to oxidation at high heat, and a far cry from the fats humans have eaten for millennia. We made the choice to leave them out entirely, and we're not looking back.

Organic & Canadian-Made

Gaia Organics chips are made in Canada, with Canadian ingredients, to the highest organic standards. No artificial flavours, no preservatives, no shortcuts. Just a premium chip you can feel good about — from the farm to the bag.

Real ingredients. Real flavour. Made in Canada.
